start the earthy30 healthy eating challenge today and feed your gut microbes
I am starting Earthy30, level one, week one, today.
If you want to follow along, all you have to do is eat 30 different plant based foods a week for four weeks and then you have completed level one.
What is a plant based food?
Well if you download the scorecard we have got the categories of fruit, vegetables, nuts and seeds, legumes and grains.
If it comes from the ground, if it grows on a plant, or it comes from a tree, and doesn't go through an animal, it is a plant based food.
Now the reason why I love the Earthy30 Challenge is because it's additive, not subtractive.
I've actually got quite a difficult week this week.
I'm traveling a lot on Tuesday. I've got a children's birthday on Saturday, and then go kart racing on Sunday.
Now all of these things involve a bit of driving some service stations and party food. These are instances when it's sometimes hard to choose a healthy option but with Earthy30, I know I'll feel good about what I've done for my diet and what I've done for my gut microbiome.
